Pirates select Blake Taylor with 51st overall pick in draft

The Pirates finished off their first day of the draft with the 51st overall pick by selecting high school LHP Blake Taylor from Dana Hills High School in California. Pirates select Reese McGuire 14th overall in MLB Draft

With the Pirates’ second pick in the first round, they selected high school catcher Reese McGuire out of Kentwood High School in Washington.
