7/13 MiLB Recap: Zack Dodson coming on strong

Jose Tabata was 0 for 4 with two strikeouts.

Starling Marte went 0 for 2 with a walk and a strikeout.

Tony Sanchez was 1 for 3.

Robbie Grossman was 0 for 3, but did record a walk to extend his on-base streak to 25 games.

Adalberto Santos went 1 for 2 with two walks.

-Zack Dodson started game one of a double-header and gave up just one run over seven innings. He struck out three and walked one. He pitched six innings without allowing an earned run in his previous start.

Alen Hanson was 3 for 7 with two walks and a double in the two games.

Gregory Polanco went 4 for 7 with a triple and a walk while driving in five runs.

Luis Heredia gave up just one run over five innings. He walked three and didn’t strike out a batter.

Barrett Barnes was 1 for 3 with a walk.

Jacob Stallings went 4 for 5 with two doubles.

– 3rd round pick, Jon Sandfort made his pro debut giving up two runs in 2/3 of an inning. He struck out two, but gave up two hits and a walk.

Harold Ramirez went 2 for 4.
