6/6 MiLB Recap: Chris Leroux makes first rehab appearance

Everyone in action today.

Pawtucket 6, Indianapolis 5 – Rick VandenHurk gave up 5 runs (3 earned) over 5 innings. Bryan Morris pitched 3 innings of relief giving up just 1 unearned run. He struck out 6 and didn’t walk a batter. Chase d’Arnaud was 1 for 5 with a home run, his 1st of the year. Gorkys Hernandez went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles, 2 walks, and 2 stolen bases. Jeff Clement was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Brandon Boggs went 1 for 4 with a double. Brian Friday was 1 for 2 with 2 walks and 2 stolen bases.

Reading 7, Altoona 2Tim Alderson had his worst start since joining the Curve’s rotation as he gave up 7 runs (5 earned) over 5 innings. Brock Holt was 2 for 4. Ramon Cabrera went 2 for 4. Jeremy Farrell was 1 for 4 with a double. Kelson Brown went 1 for 3.

Daytona 4, Bradenton 0Chris Leroux made his first rehab appearance. He gave up 1 run over 3 innings with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk allowed. Drew Maggi went 2 for 4. Carlos Paulino was 1 for 3. Those were the only 3 hits the Marauders would get.

Delmarva 4, West Virginia 2Nick Kingham gave up 2 runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out 5 and walked 2. Alen Hanson was 2 for 5 with his 15th stolen base. Kirk Singer went 1 for 3 with a walk. Gregory Polanco was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. Junior Sosa went 2 for 4 with a double.
