6/5 MiLB Recap: Alex Dickerson stays hot; Gregory Polanco hits 9th HR

Pawtucket 13, Indianapolis 2Justin Wilson gave up 7 runs (6 earned) over 4 innings. He struck out 5 and walked 4. Chase d’Arnaud was 3 for 5 with his 11th stolen base. Jeff Clement went 1 for 3. Yamaico Navarro was 1 for 3 with a walk. Tony Sanchez went 1 for 4 in his AAA debut. Brandon Boggs was 2 for 4, and even pitched a scoreless inning.

Altoona 1, Reading 0Shairon Martis pitched 8 scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. Jeff Inman pitched a scoreless 9th. Miles Durham was 1 for 3 with a walk and a home run, his 2nd of the year. Elevys Gonzalez went 4 for 4 with 4 singles.

Daytona 6, Bradenton 5Hunter Strickland gave up 1 run over 6 innings. He struck out 4 and walked 1. Gift Ngoepe was 2 for 5 with a triple. Mel Rojas went 2 for 5. Alex Dickerson was 3 for 5 with a double and a triple. Evan Chambers went 1 for 3 with a walk. Kawika Emsley-Pai was 1 for 2 with 2 walks.

Delmarva 3, West Virginia 2Zack Von Rosenberg had his first start of the season and gave up just 1 unearned run over 4 innings. Zachary Fuesser gave up 2 runs over 4 innings with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks. Gregory Polanco was 3 for 4 with a home run, his 9th of the season. Willy Garcia went 2 for 4 with a homer, his 7th. Francisco Diaz was 1 for 3 with a walk.
