Evan Meek and Bryan Morris each pitched a scoreless inning of relief, both with 2 strikeouts. Starling Marte was 2 for 4 with a double. Jeff Larish went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. Brandon Boggs was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. Brian Friday went 1 for 3 with a double.

New Britain 5, Altoona 3 – Kyle McPherson gave up 5 runs over 6 innings. He struck out 3 and walked 1. Hunter Strickland pitched 2 scoreless innings. Jeff Inman pitched a scoreless frame. Matt Curry went 2 for 4. Miles Durham was 1 for 3 with a walk. Ramon Cabrera went 1 for 3. Evan Chambers was 2 for 4 with a triple.
