6/17 MiLB Recap: Justin Wilson and Nick Kingham with solid starts

Once again, no Bradenton as the FSL is on its All-Star break.

Indianapolis 2, Charlotte 1Justin Wilson gave up just 1 run on 1 hit over 6 innings. He struck out 5 and walked 3. Daniel McCutchen pitched a scoreless inning of relief while on rehab. Chase d’Arnaud was 1 for 4 with a double. Jeff Clement went 2 for 4 with a double and a home run, his 8th of the year. Brian Friday was 1 for 3.

Altoona 15, Binghampton 6Shairon Martis gave up 5 runs in 5 2/3 innings. Jeff Inman gave up a run in 2 innings of relief. Robbie Grossman was 2 for 4 with a walk, a double, and a home run, his 4th of the year. Drew Maggi went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Miles Durham was 3 for 5 with a double. Stefan Welch went 3 for 5 with a homer, his 1st for the Curve. Quincy Latimore was also 3 for 5 with a home run, his 6th. Charles Cutler went 3 for 5 with a double and a walk. Kelson Brown was 1 for 1 with a double.

West Virginia 5, Hagerstown 3 – Nick Kingham gave up just 1 run in 5 1/3 innings. He struck out 7 and walked 2. Zac Fuesser gave up 2 runs in 1 2/3 innings. Alen Hanson was 1 for 3 with a triple and a walk. Taylor Lewis went 2 for 4. Dan Gamache was 2 for 4. Jose Osuna went 2 for 4 with a double. Francisco Diaz was 1 for 3. Eric Avila went 2 for 4 with a double and a triple.
