5/9 MiLB Recap: Justin Wilson dominant in start

Everyone but West Virginia in action today. Altoona also finished up a suspended game from yesterday.

Indianapolis 5, Lehigh Valley 0Justin Wilson started and gave up just 3 hits over 6 shutout innings. He struck out 6 and walked 1. Bryan Morris pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief. Chase d’Arnaud was 2 for 4. Gorkys Hernandez went 2 for 4 with a homer, his 2nd of the season. Brandon Boggs was 2 for 4.

Bowie 7, Altoona 4Kris Johnson started and gave up 4 runs (3 earned) in 3 2/3 innings. Tim Alderson gave up 3 runs over 3 innings. Victor Black pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings. Tony Sanchez was 1 for 4 with a double. Anthony Norman and Quincy Latimore were both 2 for 4.

Bowie 4, Altoona 1Mike Colla started and gave up 4 runs over 6 innings. Jhonathan Ramos pitched a scoreless inning of relief. Robbie Grossman was 1 for 2 with a walk and a stolen base, his 5th of the year. Brock Holt went 2 for 3. Jeremy Farrell and Greg Picart were both 1 for 3.

Clearwater 5, Bradenton 3Colton Cain gave up 5 runs (4 earned) over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out 4 and walked 1. Stefan Welch was 1 for 4 with a homer, his 4th of the year. Mel Rojas went 2 for 4 with a triple. Dan Grovatt and Wes Freeman were both 2 for 4, each with a double.
