5/20 MiLB Recap: Tim Alderson tosses seven shutout innings

Everyone in action today.
Indianapolis 4, Buffalo 1 – Rick VandenHurk started and gave up 1 run over 5 innings. He struck out 3 and walked 3. Doug Slaten pitched a scoreless inning of relief. Chase d’Arnaud was 1 for 4 with a stolen base. Alex Presley went 1 for 4. Jordy Mercer was 2 for 3 with a walk. Jose Morales went 2 for 4.
Altoona 5, Erie 0 – Tim Alderson pitched 7 scoreless innings giving up just 2 hits. He struck out 3 and didn’t walk a batter. Tony Sanchez was 1 for 3. Matt Curry went 1 for 3 with a double. Quincy Latimore was 1 for 3 with a home run, his 2nd of the year.
