5/18 MiLB Recap: Jarek Cunningham back in lineup

Everyone in action today.

Lehigh Valley 3, Indianapolis 0Rudy Owens started and gave up 3 runs over 6 innings. He struck out 6 and walked 1. Doug Slaten pitched a scoreless inning of relief to lower his ERA to 0.46. Alex Presley was 1 for 4 with a triple and a walk. Chase d’Arnaud went 1 for 5 with a double. Matt Hague was 2 for 4.

Altoona 3, Erie 2Brandon Cumpton started and gave up 1 run over 7 innings. He struck out 2 and walked 3. Duke Welker pitched a scoreless 9th inning. Brock Holt was 2 for 4. Jarek Cunningham went 1 for 3 with a double in his first game in a month after suffering a left wrist injury. Jeremy Farrell was 1 for 2. Quincy Latimore and Anthony Norman were both 1 for 3.

Dunedin 7, Bradenton 5Casey Sadler gave up 2 runs (1 earned) over 4 innings. Josh Poytress pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief. Gift Ngoepe was 2 for 5. Andy Vasquez went 2 for 4 with a double. Justin Howard was 1 for 3 with a walk.

Greenville 7, West Virginia 5Zack Dodson started and gave up 5 runs over just 2/3 of an inning. Gregory Polanco went 2 for 5. Willy Garcia was 2 for 5 with a double. Dan Gamache was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. Jose Osuna went 1 for 4 and Elias Diaz was 1 for 2, both with doubles.
