Bradenton 3, St. Lucie 2 – Colton Cain started and lasted just 3 2/3 innings. He gave up two runs (one of which was earned), walked four batters, and struck out four. Gift Ngoepe was 3 for 5. Alex Dickerson went 0 for 4. Stefan Welch won the game with a walk off HBP in the 11th inning.
Hagerstown 11, West Virginia 9 – Nick Kingham started and got rocked for five earned runs in 1 2/3 innings. Alen Hanson was 3 for 4 with a double and a homer. Josh Bell went 1 for 5 with a double and three strikeouts. Willy Garcia was 3 for 5. Gregory Polanco went 3 for 5 with a triple.
