4/19 MiLB Recap: Jameson Taillon continues to impress

Everyone in action today.

Columbus 4, Indianapolis 0Daniel McCutchen started and gave up 4 runs over 2 1/3 innings. Tim Alderson pitched 3 scoreless innings of relief in his AAA debut. Daniel Moskos pitched a scoreless frame. Jordy Mercer went 2 for 4. Brandon Boggs was 3 for 4. Starling Marte was 1 for 4.

Altoona 4, Richmond 3Brandon Cumpton gave up 2 runs over 6 innings. He struck out 3 and walked 1. Victor Black pitched a scoreless inning. Robbie Grossman was 1 for 3. Brock Holt went 3 for 4 with a double. Adalberto Santos was 3 for 4 with a double. Matt Curry went 1 for 4. Quincy Latimore was 1 for 4 with a homer.

Bradenton 2, Fort Myers 1Jameson Taillon made his 3rd start of the season and gave up 1 run over 5 innings. He struck out 6 and didn’t walk a batter. Eliecer Navarro pitched 3 scoreless innings of relief. Drew Maggi, Evan Chambers, Mel Rojas, and Wes Freeman were all 1 for 4. Dan Grovatt was 2 for 4.

Charleston 9, West Virginia 8 – Zac Fuesser started and pitched 4 scoreless innings. He struck out 4 and walked 1. Alen Hanson was 2 for 5 with a double. Jodaneli Carvajal went 1 for 4 with a double. Josh Bell was 2 for 5 with a double and a stolen base. Gregory Polanco went 2 for 4 with a triple, a walk, and 2 stolen bases.
