I am not quite sure how I feel about this news.
Obviously it’s not good when your former first round pick, who is coming off a disappointing season because of breaking his jaw in 2010 goes and breaks his jaw again. And it also isn’t good when the reason for breaking his jaw this time is because he ended up on the wrong side of a bar fight.
However, the injury must have been far less serious than before, as it is now fully healed and doesn’t look like it will or has affected his development this time around.
This probably won’t help Sanchez, whose performance is already being scrutinized, in the court of public opinion. Let’s hope Sanchez comes out this year healthy and can regain his 2010 form so we can hear some good Tony Sanchez news for once.
