Jameson Taillon Video Recap – 7/4/11

All in all, it was an excellent start by Taillon. Had his defense done what they were supposed to do, you would be looking at 4 shutout innings, with the likelihood he would pitch the 5th inning as well. Taillon’s fastball sat in the 91-92 range most of the night, touching 94 at times. As I mentioned before, his breaking ball seemed to be very, very effective when used. He did walk two batters tonight, which is two more than his previous five outings combined. But as stated before, had the defense backed him up, those walks wouldn’t have even happened.

    Were you going by stadium gun? Believe Taillon was 93-97, Rosenberg 89-92, Black 90-92, and Lopez 88-91

    Also, going by guns behind home plate.. Legends closer was 95-98.. Deleon was it?
