- Mark from Fantasy Baseball Hot Stove has an interview with our recent 1st round pick Tony Sanchez. In it, Sanchez discusses his plate approach, calling pitches, the Pirates future, and other things. It's definitely worth the click over there.
- John Perroto is back at it. His Pirates coverage will be featured at InsidePittsburghSports.com. I don't know if Pirates fans know how good they have it due to the guys who cover the Pirates on a day-to-day basis, and Perroto is definitely someone who does his job extremely well.
- I got an email from the Pirates today with a letter from President Frank Coonely and a "blueprint" of the Pirates' plan and organization. All it needs is a proof reader as Jeff Locke is listed as an "OF."
- Donnie Veal was named the Arizona Fall League Pitcher of the Week last week. He pitched 7.2 scoreless innings in 2 starts.
