Some things that have happened in the past few days:

- If you are looking for another reason to hate the Brewers, check this out. Turns out their starting SS, Alcides Escobar, abandoned his daughter at birth and basically refuses to help her. His wife sent me a link to a petition hoping to raise awareness of the situation. So, if you want to, sign it.

- Somehow, Florida's Chris Coghlan won ROY. I'm not going to say much about that other than I simply disagree.

- Pat over at WHYGAVS points out that there is a petition for MLB Network to air Dock Ellis' no-hitter that he threw while he was under the influence of some LCD. So definitely sign that, because that would be cool to see.

- The Pirates should be making some additional 40-man roster moves in the next couple days, so keep checking back for that.
