Pittsburgh Pirates WBC Roundup - 3/7

There were a bunch of Buccos in action on Saturday:

Chinese SS Ray Chang was 1-3 in China's 14-0 loss against Korea. China is eliminated. Chang finished the Classic with a .455 average with 1 HR and 2 RBI.

Candadian reliever Dave Davidson tossed a shutout inning against Team USA in a 6-5 loss. He didn't give up an earned run in the 2008 Olympics, and he's now off to a good start here in the '09 Classic. Davidson will probably start up in Indianapolis this season, but has an outside shot to make the Bucs.

Puerto Rican 3B Ramon Vazquez was 0-4 with an RBI on a sac fly in Puerto Rico's 7-0 win over Panama.

Reliever Eliecer Navarro gave up 1 ER (2 R) in 1.1 innings in Panama's 7-0 loss to Puerto Rico. Navarro played for the Bucs' Dominican League team last season.
